Septic goes to Jefferson County Environmental Health either way, and we call 811 before any trench.

Access is the other question. Uptown and Downtown lots are small, often reached by an alley, with a neighbor’s fence close on both sides, so the machine has to fit and the spoil has to go somewhere. Getting there from Chimacum

From Chimacum we take SR 19 north through Port Hadlock to SR 20, then follow SR 20 into town on Sims Way, about 20 minutes with a trailer [VERIFY: travel time]. Kala Point sits on the bay just south of town. Cape George is a few minutes farther out Discovery Road and Cape George Road.
